Presented in a church, a space that has marked the province’s identity, the piece presented a new way of viewing Quebecers’ history. The artist used the piece to recontextualize a number of original documents and others that had been taken from archives and reworked. Manipulated sounds and images projected on the moving blades of windmills put key experiences in Quebecers’ identity into perspective.
