Capturer le [dés]ordre captures something extremely fine and delicate, a very simple chaos, almost music, not quite rhythm, escaping from its jumbled heap of sound effects, mechanisms, and movement.
Singularities simultaneously built up by accretion, juxtaposed, added together and subtracted. Capturer le [dés]ordre was the first work in the series Avatar présente, showcasing unpublished sound works. It was launched on September 28, 2012. Montreal artist Sabin Hudon produced it in an Avatar residency. It was initially intended for Excavation sonore.
