About the work

An abstract, superimposed construction, this mass of sounds is an amalgam of recordings of the cycles that underlie our lives: breathing, the rubbing of clothes on the moving body, the friction of bicycle wheels—in short, the traces of a passing day.

These cycles intertwine, recreated according to my moods and the meaning they have in my daily life. One situation brings joy; another boredom; the next one grief…

A unique and grandiose event confronts this mass. A multitude of sounds that defy conventions, that express an urge to break the social chain, that engrave their presence by shaking up the habitual rites and rhythms of the day.
