Images invisibles presented the results of collaborations between poets and audio artists.
Images invisibles presented the results of collaborations between poets and audio artists. The collaborations, which paired two artists and two disciplines, forced each artist to be aware of the uniqueness, the constraints, and the possibilities of the other’s discipline. If the literary and audio languages could represent a place or situation, the words could explore regions inaccessible to sound. Conversely, sound could provoke emotions that words could convey but audiences could not feel.
Images invisibles was immersive and left as much space as possible for mental images. The 5.1 surround sound audio pieces enveloped listeners.
