Avatar #20: Le Grand Happening

Collectif

Performances

From September 19 through September 21st, Méduse’s Salle Multi will welcome a great gathering of artists. Audio and electronic creation and dissemination association Avatar celebrates its 20 years by gifting the public with multiple occasions to discover eclectic artistic propositions.

Avatar #20: Le Grand Happening will be the result of a 3-day residence bringing together 20 artists. These established and emerging artists from Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto and Nantes will be working together for the first time. Collaborations will come to life during the residence, for which the artists will be given carte blanche by Avatar. Creators will be pushed beyond their working habits and faced with confines that will allow them to invent new approaches. What outline will they imagine for Saturday’s presentation? Their audio and electronic artistic propositions may go down the road of installation, screening, wandering, or public reading… Original propositions for a unique experience!

The artists : Pierre-André Arcand (Mtl), Catherine Béchard (Mtl), Chantal Dumas (Mtl), Pierre-Olivier Fréchet-Martin (Qc), Caroline Gagné (Qc), Renée Gagnon (Mtl), Sabin Hudon (Mtl), Jérôme Joy (Fr), Frédérique Laliberté (Qc), Myriam Lambert (Qc), Diane Landry (Qc), Mériol Lehmann (Qc), Sarah L’Hérault (Qc), Louis Ouellet (Qc), Christof Migone (Tor), Ariane Plante (Qc), Simon Paradis-Dionne (Qc), Alexandre Saint-Onge (Mtl) et Jocelyn Robert (Qc).
