Le résonateur
Le résonateur Steeve Lebrasseur (2001)

The résonateur was developed and presented by Avatar in 2001. Its creation was subject to very specific constraints. It would fit within the space of one cubic foot; it would rely on online information collected through its own specially created interface, and it would be called a résonateur, a name that would define the concept.

The result was a fragile glass cube, inside which seven mouths and six eyes constituted the expressive medium. The mouths were moving loudspeakers. A brain or microcontroller was also visible inside the cube along with wires and electronic components. The arrival and actions of the audience were detected by sensors and triggered responses from the résonateur.
