Following the orchestra’s appearance on Le Navire Night, Michel Levasseur invited God’Ar to close out the prestigious Festival international de musiques actuelles de Victoriaville (FIMAV), which he had organized.

Following the orchestra’s appearance on Le Navire Night, Michel Levasseur invited God’Ar to close out the prestigious Festival international de musiques actuelles de Victoriaville (FIMAV), which he had organized. Avatar let God’Ar members work on their pieces in its studios with a technical assistant from the organization.

 

The six members of the collective were concealed behind a video projection screen. For one hour, they served up an electronic music charge more powerful than anything heard before on this label. It was strong, aggressive, visceral, and perfectly matched to the barrage of images projected by Boris Firquet ranging from mathematical formulas to surgery and live images of the performance taking place behind the screen.
