Lascas (Spanish: Lithic Flakes) is a sound hybridization that generates in the listener an approximate yet critical vision of the experience of a Mexico City resident constantly bombarded with information that comes mainly from gringo sources.

The work was produced by Mario de Vega and Manrico Montero, two Mexican sound magicians, who were in Quebec City for the return leg of the Quebec City–Mexico City exchange “Lascas, un arte mexicano actual.”
