ÉchoGraphie uses sound, water, and the play of light to invade the presentation space. With Avatar’s support, Myriam Lambert created a device to transmit sound vibrations through a thin layer of water, generating light reflections that take on architectural dimensions. Reflections thus mirror the sounds that are the work’s true environment. Although new technology was used to develop it, this austere installation transcends the technical, evoking remembered feelings and transforming our relationship with the world into something poetic.
