Eltractor’s domUSticks IDEOTRONs is a work involving three giant screens, hundreds of television monitors, projections on side tables, and many speakers.

Eltractor’s domUSticks IDEOTRONs is a work involving three giant screens, hundreds of television monitors, projections on side tables, and many speakers. It was premiered in the Media Lounge of Montreal’s Just for Laughs Museum on October 18, 2000, as part of the Montreal International Festival of New Cinema and New Media. Afterwards, Avatar hosted Eltractor for a brief residency to rehearse and make final adjustments to the piece.

 

domUSticks IDEOTRONs was released in 2001. It was Eltractor’s first interactive CD-ROM and includes a full 40 minutes of full-screen video from domUSticks IDEOTRONs performances and studio rehearsals.
