(example of previous work) - Pierre-André Arcand
In the 1980s, Pierre-André Arcand built a sound processing machine, the Macchina Ricordi, which enabled him to develop an incredible loop-based sound-processing technique. In the early 2000s, he began designing a digital version of the unit, an initiative that is still underway since digitizing the equipment allowed him to extend his work to creating video images. Altering everyday real-time sounds and images, his performances integrate voices, words, on-screen images, sounds of objects and gestures within an ineffable polyphony.
